3rd Year - Planning Permission

Stage 1 of Semester 2 was organised by Simon Leeman, an architect from graham mitchell architects. The class was taught how to prepare and produce drawings required to get planning permission approval for proposed concept designs.
The tasks involved in stage 1:
Prepare appropriate documentation; Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent forms filled in with appropriate information
Develop existing building drawings to highlight the areas of the building and site that are to be: altered, removed, reused or repair.
Prepare proposal drawings to clearly indicate the new building design through elevations, floor plans and sections. With emphasis on specify: materials; fixings; highlighting old and new elements; and external finishings.
